Siamo lieti di annunciare che Roy Ascott, presidente e fondatore del Planetary Collegium, che in collaborazione con Ars Academy e la Plymouth University promuove il T-Node Ph.D, ha ricevuto il prestigioso Golden Nica durante l’Ars Electronica Festival 2014, per il suo lavoro nel campo della New Media Art. Con il Golden Nica si premia il lavoro che Ascott, che attualmente detiene la cattedra di Technoetic Arts presso la Plymouth University, ha condotto sin dagli anni ’60 sulla interactive computer art, l’electronic art, la cybernetic art e la telematic art
